I thought the world stopped that Tuesday
But in fact it carried on
The grass continued growing and the birds still sang their song
A man had become unhappy, he rarely knew I was here
But now upstairs he’s dancing with the one he called his Dear
They are now back together
And yes, we’re really sad
Sadder than I thought I’d be, so maybe I am not to bad
We are pulling together as a family, there is a lot for us to do
But now we have a purpose and our lives should not be blue
Everyone’s being fantastic,
what has happened is not cheer,
But Dad can now be happy because he is dancing with his Dear

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
